i flashed with different release firmware dated( vs0117 270818)  with firmware upgrade option. Then my screen goes blank (everything working except display)
i think lk.bin is not compatible with my phone. but i cant find the exact firmware of (vs0116 130818)

Note - this is secure boot chip

I have downloaded auth file for this device from this forum, and dl agent from official rom. and format all with bootloader but when i try to reflash official rom i have flashed before. it asked for auth file. then i select auth file from this forum , it gave error.
and When i connect device to pc it stuck at usb serial device PORT not in preloader mode.

please helpw

i mistakenly format whole flash with bootloader. and now the device wont flash auth error. the device stuck at USB SERIAL DEVICE Mode and does not goes to preloader port.
i m unable to flash. help please i new to mtk device

disconnect / reconnect the battery of the phone then retry flashing
also update what the device gets detected as in device manager using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16839.html

its my phones browser problem.BTW
the device is still reconised as usb serial device port. i already install driver many times just see in pic.

after install vcom driver manually its still recognized as usb serial device
But installing mtk driver auto installer from this forum, the device now recognized as mtk usb port no preloader.
MY Question
1. Is it auth file error due to formatted all with bootloader (secure boot device)
2. Is shorting GND to KOLO, COLO OR KCOLO pins put this device in preloader mode.( not written in Motherboard of device)
  OR directly connecting RX & TX pin to D+ & D-  PINS. (i find and connected with pc but usb device not recognized.why, is it need dongle)
 I tried with SWD TOOL but it too give auth error

what is EFUSE In SWD TOOL and enabling it could help or not.
how to enable it on SWD TOOL.

driver is fixed, successfully flashing preloader will cause the device to be detected as vcom preloader

it's the reason why it's not a good idea to format (all) in secure boot device. if you do then you risk face more errors usually requiring auth file

your device is getting detected just fine, you don't need this

you can't use SWD tool for phones with secure boot not made by transsion holdings esp when they require auth file

ensure you are using both the right da and auth file for the device model ; download @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23525.html
then retry flashing using spft, you could try all different modes ie download only, firmware upgrade, format all + download
