I have read the thread where a guy ported twrp for x652 and manage to install gsi rom. I have also tried to port it but failed many times. If anyone have ported twrp or would it help me answer me it will mean a lot

you will need to explain what you mean by it failed many times
backup stock recovery from your device or download the firmware if it's available online
then port twrp using the tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21839.html

did you unlock bootloader and flash empty vbmeta before flashing the twrp?

My dear first unlock bootloader and make sure empty vbmeta is flashed before flashing the TWRP ,that is what am using with lineage and resurrection remix

Brother, please after unlocking the bootloader and flashing an empty vbmeta... Which TWRP, did you flash??
The Ported one or the original Recovery Image?

U have to flash the ported TWRP and make sure u reboot to TWRP after flashing by using Vol +and power
