Please how do I fix a Samsung Galaxy S7 stuck on bootloop. It does not get past the SAMSUNG GALAXY BOOT UP SCREEN.I have tried hard reset, wiped cache ete but none worked. Please help

how did this problem begin? and do you know the current build number of the device? if no, boot to recovery mode and check
is this phone an original samsung or clone?

I do not know the build number of the phone, it was being used by my younger bro. How do I check if it s original or a clone?

When I connect to PC, it makes that connecting sound but nothing show on my PC. It will just do what it has been doing, go off, come back on show the 'SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 ..powered by Android' goes off again comes back on, same boot loop and does not get past that stage. From the attached pics above I want to think its an Original phone.

Boot the phone to odin mode, connect the phone and open odin flash tool on pc then check if it’s detected on odin mode.

Thanks for your prompt response. The phone model number is SM-G903F, should I select this model number or go ahead with the SM-G93V download you posted? 
Secondly should I download the latest firmware 2020 or the 2018/2019 firmware coz I don’t know if the latest firmware would be compatible with it.

looking at the screenshot you posted of odin mode @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=7703 the model is SM-G930V; not sure where you got sm-g903f from
latest firmware or current firmware version on the phone, the choice is yours but any one will work. if you want the current version on the phone then boot to recovery mode and you'll find the build number displayed on top of recovery mode
