Samsung Galaxy S7 stuck in boot mode
Samsung Galaxy S7 stuck in boot mode
(27-04-2020, 04:49 PM)X3nonI downloaded the firmware from the link you posted above, did the odin flashing but the phone was still in bootloop, so I then downloaded the main firmware for build number SM-G930V which is G930VVRS9CSB1 that showed in the recovery mode, did the Odin flash and got the PASS green button, but the phone is still bootlooping, showing the Samsung Galaxy S7, Powered by Android, goes off and comes back on continuously like that. What could be wrong with the phone? It's so frustrating. What else can be done?(27-04-2020, 01:44 PM)chux76 Thanks for your prompt response. The phone model number is SM-G903F, should I select this model number or go ahead with the SM-G93V download you posted?
Secondly should I download the latest firmware 2020 or the 2018/2019 firmware coz I don’t know if the latest firmware would be compatible with it.
I really appreciate your help and I am grateful.
looking at the screenshot you posted of odin mode @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=7703 the model is SM-G930V; not sure where you got sm-g903f from
latest firmware or current firmware version on the phone, the choice is yours but any one will work. if you want the current version on the phone then boot to recovery mode and you'll find the build number displayed on top of recovery mode

Maybe a there’s a hardware related issues on the phone.
Have you tried booting the phone to recovery mode and perform factory reset?
(29-04-2020, 11:29 AM)chux76 Yes but it is still stuck in bootloop.
(29-04-2020, 03:16 PM)X3nonI tried using this modified Odin to flash it but it Failed. I downloaded a TWRP file to do a recovery but it failed too. I want to use an Original Samsung USB chord as a last resort to see if it works. I am really frustrated with this phone. The failed report is as follows:(29-04-2020, 11:29 AM)chux76 Yes but it is still stuck in bootloop.
retry flashing the firmware again using this odin tool @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_pyeIB...N2czA/view
tick the option "nand erase all" . after flashing is complete factory reset in recovery then check if it can boot to homescreen

MODIFIED ODIN. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES AND MODIFICATIONS IN THIS ONE
AND IF WE CHECK NAND ERASE WHAT HAPPENS. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH
(01-05-2020, 11:07 AM)X3nonI got the original USB cord, used the modified Odin but it failed. I used the normal Odin, it passed but still phone remains in bootloop. Using the nand-erase all..it would fail, If I uncheck the nand erase, it would run, Pass, but still remain in bootloop.(30-04-2020, 11:06 PM)chux76 I tried using this modified Odin to flash it but it Failed.
