Hello Hovatek.
my english level isnt hot.. sorry in advance.
so i already have unlocked my bootloader (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19578.html).
so whatched your tuto about rooting the android Pie with Magisk Manager. The problem is that my phone as an updated build number TECNO Pouvoir 3 Air LC6a (LC6a-H619ABC-PGo-20017V123), the rom i download here for tecno lc6a pouvoir 3 air is a bit older (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-29785.html) : TECNO Pouvoir 3 Air LC6a (LC6a-H619ABC-PGo-191121V109)
so if i patch the older recovery.img (or boot.img) in magisk and flash the one i will get, in my updated system, is it safe ?
i worry to brick my device, as i can't backup my firmware via Miracle Box (phone switchs off until it discharges completely, it takes a whole day, or 2).
thank you guys to all you did for me.

you'll most likely brick your device if you use recovery.img from a wrong build. instead backup firmware from your device then use that to root
meanwhile you need to disable dm_verity before you proceed with rooting, flash empty vbmeta section @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32719.html (method 3)

miracle box doesn't support the chipset on your device, miracle thunder along with the right DA file for your model does
to make things easier, keep the battery percent of your device low e.g below 5%. this way it'll easily discharge if it gets stuck in mode and you can't disassemble to get the battery clip off
