For those with the Blackview BV5900 killing background apps, the cause is DuraSpeed.
To prevent background apps from getting killed,

1. Go to Settings
   
2. Select DuraSpeed
   
3. Toggle it Off
   
4. You could also leave On then whitelist apps you want to run in background
