Hi,i bought Huawei media pad with this same problem as second hand hoping I could fix it. This pad is written "S8-701u"as model at the back of its cover. The problem with this phone is that is not starting.When I power it on, only the first screen is coming up showing "Huawei media pad" and there after it remains on black blank screen .I tried to hard reset it using the button combinations but it won't get into the recovery mode. Please help me resolve this problem, and thank you for your continuous support.

have you tried flashing stock firmware? check the list @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13012.html

you're to use firmware that matches with your phone's build number or region / country

How do I check my pad's build number more especially when it's not starting nor booting in recovery mode? All I know at the moment about this pad is that it is written s8-701u at the back of its cover.

you'll need to readinfo from the device using a hardware dongle tool such as miracle box / thunder, cm2 e.t.c
