[LFH] Root TomTom Bridge (custom Android 6.0.1)
(25-11-2019, 07:07 PM)LiquidAtoR_PL Looking for help with rooting a TomTom Bridge device.
This device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and runs a custom Android 6.0.1
Full specs: developer.tomtom.com/bridge/specifications
The device listens to some ADB commands, but for example doesn't boot into EDL when given the ADB command (there's only a powerbutton on the device, no physical volume buttons so no physical way to do this either unless a possible short on the device itself, there is no bootloader present on the device).
There's also nothing like TWRP on the device, nor any google and/or play services.
Pressing and holding the powerbutton (trough the restart) makes the device go into a custom recovery mode where you can install a TomTom/Webfleet rescue image from SDCard (which I do have, however all files are signed, so they can't be altered without throwing an error on installation).
Any idea's on how to proceed to root this device would be appreciated.
I have Miracle Box 2.82 + key on the computer.
Also 15 second ADB installed.
When connected trough USB, the device in shown in the device manager as Android, generic, not Qualcomm or anything specific.
