1. when you say "even when it's charging", do you mean the charging indicator comes on?
2. when you press the power button, the laptop remains dead?
3. whats the processor?

that indicator doesnt necessarily mean your laptop is charging. it just means the PC is able to receive charge from the power pack. is the processor AMD or Intel. this issue is common in AMD laptops and your board is most likely faulty (unless you're sure the power button works)
