hi all
i downloaded firmware offered by hovatek.com for tecno f2 8+1 a1.  but it loaded mediatek chip 6752 instead of 6572. so I edited line 9 on the scatter file but now its giving me storage mismatch error...
storage type is HW STORAGE EMMC
target type is HW STORAGE NAND
anyone gone through this n cracked ????

your device must be a clone if uses mt6572 and nand, is there anything wrong with your device?

yah , its stuck on the tecno logo after formating

and just realised it was an F1 , don't why anyone would label it under the battery as F2 , but thanks all the same ...

how did you figured out its F1?
and even if it is, the original F1 still uses emmc and mt6580
thats a good example of clone / fake phone, naming a device something else
