Am really feeling sorry ƒσʀ tejrooney ..ι've read the whole thread ƒʀσм beginning тσ end ..infact am even wondering тσ drop му own problem ..му advice ƒσʀ u is тσ try and become α premium member since that's all they need ..there seems тσ вє α forum with tecno l3 mtk rom dump ..it might hold the secro.img you are looking ƒσʀ ..when u get the secro file flash it in along with all the other files you have ..so ƒαʀ as the files are ƒσʀ ur specified fne the fne would boot ...as ƒσʀ me am in need of tecno d5 mtk rom dump ..ι've only got boot, recovery nd system ..and ι've raided google ƒσʀ months now тσ no avail

That sounds like a classic preloader.bin issue. unfortunately, we dont have the preloader for Tecno d5, only that for d3. All we have for d5 is the scatter file, firmware.info, clockworkmod recovery image and scatter file. Would you want to experiment with Tecno d3 preloader.bin on your d5? We'll email it free of charge as long as you agree to give feedback here on whether or not it had any effect.

the preloader for t.d3 failed instantly even before the flashing process had begun ..whereas that of t.q1 managed to reach 100% then give d error "PMT CHANGED ..." ..am wondering if its cos some files like dsp_bl, mbr, ebr1 and ebr2 are missing or cos i used the scatterfile for t.l3 which is similar to that of t.d5

Guess you'll need scatter for Q1 to test further. anything beyond those 2 preloader files we sent requires premium membership.

go morning sir, I followed the procedure you listed , When flashing, the first Red line will load to 100 persent, then BROM ERROR 4011 will now pop up, I need your help on this sir

Did you switch off the phone? What version of sp flash tool are you using?

Am having a problem with my tecno f8 mt6589 chip, the phone got bricked, hard bricked, i got a back up from someone using a similar phone and tried flashing back using ur guide in this forum. i have never successfully flashed the new rom cuz i keep getting a "s_da_sdmmc write failed (3149)" error. i installed the mtk drivers on my laptop which is a win 8.1 OS and when the phone is plugged into the laptop wit a usb, a mtk usb vcom pops up in device manager, i never get the mtk usb preloader, i donno if thats the problem.. but pls can u help?
