what was wrong with the device before you flashed these files?
are the files from the exact firmware build of your device?
did you try performing a factory reset in recovery mode after flashing the said files?

There is no recovery mode. The bluetooth and wifi were not working. I have tried flashing with the custom DA using sp flash tool and yet after 10mins of "Download DA 100%", it shows a 0xC0050001 error.

PS:The device is unlocked in case that helps.

recovery is power off the phone then boot using vol up + power button unless recovery mode on the phone is broken
can you still boot into fastboot mode? if yes then try the command "fastboot -w" ; it should reset the phone
if not then try flashing factory firmware using latest software download tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23709.html

I have tried resetting using fastboot and it did not work. Using SWD and it doesn't get past "DA connecting". I have attached a picture.

Also, I tried switching the DA in the MTKDA FP & SP folder to the custom Smart 2 pro DA and there was no change

X3non for the win.

Silly me. I used SWD again to flash the Rom and it worked. I had to switch to the USB 2.0 port on my laptop. I have been using the 3.0 port on my laptop.
