My fingerprint scanner is not detecting touch anymore, also I can't remove already saved fingerprints neither can I add a new one because it won't detect any touch I noticed this started after I upgraded from Android 6.0 to 7.0 I already performed factory reset many times but it doesn't solve the problem. Please help.

How did you update the phone, is it via the system update or flash tool & firmware?
I don't remember the original build number and I've checked system updates in settings, no new update is detected... It's says I'm with the latest update

I suggest you downgrade to 6.0 . Knowing your previous build number would have helped pinpoint the best firmware to download and flash

You’re still not sure, there’s firmware for x521-J5088AC on the link @Administrator’s reply. Flash only boot, recovery and system.img from the firmware.
