If you're a Tecno pouvoir 2 user, then good news for you. You can now install Android Pie custom ROM on your device. We all know Tecno isn't that great at offering OS update or it devices even though fans wants to have a development community like Infinix. However, you're not completely out of luck as Tecno did a good thing making the pouvoir 2 device project treble enabled. With this you can install any custom rom of your choice and even upgrade to a newer android version like Android pie.

So, if you've been searching for Android Pie for Tecno Pouvoir 2, then this is for you. I have ported a working recovery for the device and tested several rom, and finally found one which I'll share with you guys.

AOSP Android Pie custom rom for Tecno Pouvoir 2

AOSP Pie custom ROM mimics Google’s stock Android Pie OS. AOSP ROM doesn’t include many customization features like RR ROM and many others, it’s basically an AOSP ROM with little theme options to make your device look cool on the interface. This ROM was not ported nor built by me, it simply a GSI ROM that can be installed on any Treble enabled Android smartphone. All credits goes to Phusson, the developer behind AOSP ROM.

How to install AOSP Android Pie for Tecno Pouvoir 2

1. Download AOSP GSI ROM from the below link
2. Copy the downloaded GSI file to the root of your SD, if the ROM is in zip or rar format, simply extract it to get the img file
3. Extract the Vendor Mod to a folder (we’ll be using it at the end of the installation)
4. Now boot your device into TWRP recovery
5. In TWRP perform a factory reset, or siply use the advance option to wipe the cache and data partition.
6. Then tap of the install button, select the install image button on the next screen
7. Select the ROM img file and select the system partition in which you want to install the ROM on the next screen.
8. The installation process will begin, so sit back while it installs.
9. Once installation is complete, reboot.
