Thanks alot i can now readback using emmc user and 0x40000 partition size. Actually i downloaded some firmware and loaded the scatter file. I press the vol up + vol down + power button connect to pc Then it works!. Now i have preloader.bin i can test this to dram test. So i can backup my full rom.

can you try reading back in this two scenerios?
1. use the scatter file from the firmware you downloaded without holding and buttons
2. use the scatter file obtained from wwr while holding the vol up + vol down + power buttons

it will help tell which one fixes the error or if its a combination of both

status preloader exception is a different error from STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID which is what the OP experienced
create a new thread for your device issue by clicking "ask question" at the top

Actually I have the exact same problem as Davidburbos666 but his manipulation didn't work for me (or maybe I did them badly). My device is a Wiko View 4 from august, model: W-V830-EEA, with android 10, and a MediaTek MT6765 in.
I am not very good, so any help would be useful.

set partition_size: 0x40000 then retry
and also give feedback on the emmc_user

Hi, do you mean to set "0x40000" on the scatter file "partition_size:"?
Or in sp-flash-tool ReadBack length?
