hi everyone. please there is an issue with this device that am using. Firstly it was charging problem. it hardly charge and if it eventually do it drains so quickly. for instance if battery is 50% or so  it will start draining so fast within 10 minute. I thought it to be a particular app that seems to be invisible so I did a quick format. now after formating the second thing I noticed is that the Red charging indicator shows that it is charging but the screen just shows battery with red bar line at the bottom of the indicator but no animation. at times the logo suddenly appears but doesn't boot to system.  please how do I correct this? thanks

so the phone is bricked from factory resetting
have you tried flashing stock rom?
and has the battery percent increased since you've been charging it?

Thanks X3non. It just stack on logo and the battery percentage is no where to be found. Have not tried stock rom cause source is not reliable. Just trying to see how I can get into custom recovery then flash backup.

Is  now clear to me what i did exactly. i wiped system..also data as if i was preparing to flash a rom which was not my intention. will device reinstall itself after when i wipe system and data.... as it use to do when formatted option is swipped? please is their a way where by device will be able to recognize twrp backed up file in sdcard or any way of transfering backed up files to internal memory since thats the only storage that is been recognized with twrp custom recovery or how do i use custom recovery inbuilt file explorer to move or copy from sd card to internal memory? because explorer is able to detect files on sdcard.  please which is the simple way of getting this device back? thanks

The mount points needs to be fixed for TWRP to detect external Sd card.
What's the phone's chipset? (MTK, SPD or Quallcomm)
Do have the phone's stock ROM or firmware backup?

answer @innagee's questions
also try either of this two options

twrp > mounts > mount mtp and connect the phone to a PC -- see the it shows up on the PC

OR

twrp > advanced > file manager >
click .. usually at the very top to return to parent folder until you get to \root
in root folder, check for these folders 'external sd', 'storage', 'mnt'
in each of the three folders, look for the files stored in extsdcard and if found, copy then over to internalsd

thanks Innagee. twrp can now detect sdcard and files, but the problem now is that twrp folder shows empty folder where as there is backup twrp files in the folder.
The chipset in case: 64bit - MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 (16nm

thanks X3non. can copy files to internal folder now but twrp folder is been detected as been empty where as there are files backed up with custom recovery in the folder.

Since device is still having charging issue, which is the the combination keys to custom recovery while device is on charger. because it hardly retain power for one to boot to recovery normally. at times when i hold both volume buttons for some times the logo appears and when i force power off and use the normal recovery combination for recovery it goes in at once, and at times it doesnt seem to work though device is been put on charger for long.
