you could also flash without unlocking bootloader using research download tool (if you have the PAC firmware for your device build); untick all files and tick only fdl 1&2 and any other file you want to flash

I actually tried all the commands.
Can I backup my whole rom or just simply boot.img using any tool?
All I want is to root my phone.
If I could just get the boot.img out I could use Magisk to do the rest.
I'm on a really slow internet now and downloading a 2.5GB+ rom would be hard for me.
Can I backup my spreadtrum's stock boot.img only?
Thanks in advance

did you get any error or stuck ewhile trying to unlock bootloader? if yes, attach screenshot of the error message
for backup, do you have CM2 dongle? if yes, you can backup entire firmware then convert to PAC and extract the pac using research download tool
if no, you can try backing up firmware using miracle box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-17226.html
