Backup your stock ROM and patch your boot image and then flash it to yo phone

Find a custom recovery of yo exact phone model and built number, flash it with adb fastboot command or so flash tool

Or try custom recovery method by flashing magisk.zip or supersu.zip.
You can port custom recovery for your device by mtk auto tool.
Its hard to find/port fully working custom recovery,so try the easiest (magisk)method first.

backup firmware from your phone using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html
you'll need custom DA; download @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html
patch boot.img from your backup and root using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html

I tried backing up using wwr tool and read back with sp flash tool, my phone chipset MT6767v/v isn't available in the drop down in wwr, so I add mt6767 without the v/v, save the scatter file, sp flash tool said it's version isn't compatible with the chipset type that I should upgrade and I'm using the latest sp flashtool version. When trying to use miracle box, after I selected read and select my phone chipset which is 8th booth with mt67xx, and select save as scatter, click the start button and connect my phone, but nothing happened, I have all the necessary drivers installed, please help, thanks

MT6767 seems a wrong chipset type, verify the chipset of your phone using the tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13054.html
it should be MT6763
btw you can also check if the firmware for your build number is listed @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23177.html

Yeah, I've verified the chipset to be mt6763, I saved the temp scatter file with wwr tool, and load it on sp flash tool to read back the rom_0 but when I click read back and connect my phone, it says DA download or read back error, and I input the DA I downloaded here on hovatek for Camon X CA7 in sp flashtool, when I click read back, sp flash tool will stop working and close. Please is there any other MTK flashtool I can use to read back the stuff and do the rom dump, I don't even know why miracle box won't work with my phone and there's no option to include my phone DA in the miracle box version 2.27A,
Or moreover my phone build number is CA7-H633BCDK-O-180424V158, if possible I can use the boot.img of one of the stock roms uploaded here on hovatek, kindly tell me which one to use please or give me the solutions around sp flashtool or miracle box so I can back up my firmware myself. Thanks

which SP flash tool version are you using? have you tried another different version?

firmware for this particular build online require some sort of payment and no you can't use boot.img from a different build
