How do i go about the issue? Cant seem to find a way to remove simlock on this device..

doesn't seem like there's an official support from any unlock tool (sigmakey ...etc). you can try requesting unlock directly from EE

Another trick you can try is to look for unlock methods and tools for other phones running Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 processor https://www.google.com/search?client=fir...dragon+615
