hi i have this tecno l5 which suddendly went off and wont turn on. when you plug it to a charger it will dispaly battery of charging but wont turn on no matter for how long it charges. i tried to flash it with the stock rom using sp flashtool and will start the flash process well but then will stuck at 2% then will display the foolowing error  ( brom error: s ft download fail 4008). i tried on 2 different pc and also tried another rom but still thesame. please help

Also, does the battery percentage increase while charging?
If you hold the power key does the charging sign disappear or not?

Yes the battery display percentage. But i have noticed something during the flash process. When i thick preloader and the rest of the image except for system or android. It does flash successfuly but when i thick preloader and system image it doesn't. It just stops at 2% thn give the error above

whats the current state of the phone now? (totally dead or stuck at boot)
did you take note of the build number of the phone before flashing?
did you try formatting all except bootloader in format tab before flashing? OR try using firmware upgrade option

Try dumping the phone's firmware using miracle box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html , let's know if successful. 

Did you search and apply the fix for that error on my previous reply. 
Did you take note of the phone's build no?

Yes i did try to format it except bootloader and also the phone is totally dead. I also tried the firmware upgrade option but still won't work

the info from this txt file shows your phone is likely a clone. both the chipset and emmc size doesnt match that of the original
i'll take it you don't remember the build number of the phone
where did you get the rom you're trying to flash from?
can you get access to a tecno i5 with mt6580 chipset and 8GB rom?

I remember the build number. I read the phone info before trying to flash it. The build number id: L5-H802-A1-L-20151029. The emmc is mt6580
