I have a Samsung J7 2016 that I want to root

It's running android 5.1.1 Lollipop

I don't know how to root it safely without a ROM backup... I am only good with MTK, pls help

Enable OEM unlock in settings
Unlock bootloader
Flash (using odin) auto root for your device which you can get here https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/.
