I have a personal problem with a modem I cracked a long time ago but tried using it now and it's no longer cracked. Can u help? It's an Mtn modem. Now I can't using any other sim on it except for Mtn. Need help please

what's the modem model? 
does the modem request an unlock code when you insert a different network sim? 

Also, how did you crack the modem the first time?
