I did pretty much everything to create a full rom dump, and all I was to do a readback. However, after trying so, I faeed an error of something like read data exeption and I tried to look for existing threads about it until I found the page where all sp flash tool errors show up. This showed  a solution of updating the drivers, with a link provided to Mega. I downloaded it, installed, and restarted my PC to no avail.

I still  get the

ERROR: STATUS_READ_DATA_EXCEPTION

What should I do next?

What's the phone current state?
What's the phone's chipset and have you tried dumping the firmware using miracle box?

you shouldn't encounter that error if you skip userdata and cache
skip userdata and cache using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-22701.html

My phone is okay right now, I can still use it. I'm running MT6739 and yes I tried mirablebox I i can't make it to detect my device so I switched to the wwr method (SPFtools detect my phone just fine)

I already did that, in fact, that is the first consideration that I made since I do not want to backup cache and data

without connecting the phone to the PC, attach a screenshot of device manager on your PC

uninstall all mtk and vcom drivers on your PC using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-7660.html
install just vcom preloader driver using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html (ensure to disable driver signature as indicated by the guide)
