i take it that this is the build number of the firmware you flashed "X572-H5312CE-O-180531V117"
do you remember the original build number of your device?
the custom recovery you have used to flash the custom rom, did you port the custom recovery using your stock recovery.img or you just downloaded the custom recovery online and tried it?

Exactly, that was the southeast Asia that I flashed, I don't remember the original build number.
I downloaded the v117 from infinix website. 

Last night, I decided to download (X572-H5312AD-O-180810V157) which is the Africa version and flashed it with sp flash tool, IMEI became null and baseband not found. 
I made use of Maui meta and SN write tool but the device wasn't recognised despite that I have every MTK67** drivers, the former Southeast Asia device was recognised by my PC and I was able to flash IMEI successfully, I just don't know why the Africa v157 won't get detected by Maui meta (booted into meta mode but didn't turn yellow)  and SN write tool always show failed while loading.

btw did you try out these other two rom builds? X572-H5312E-O-ID-SKD & X572-H5312E-O-IN

btw did you try out these other two rom builds?  X572-H5312E-O-ID-SKD  &  X572-H5312E-O-IN

After factory reset, baseband was restored. 
I didn't try any of them. 

I connected my phone via Maui meta and it suddenly identifies it and I was able to flash new IMEI into it, after restart, everything is now back to normal, the network is now stable, IMEI visible and SIM is also shown. 

I pray God bless you sir and repay you abundantly as your idea to do factory reset was the key to solve the problem, thank u very much sir.
