My TECNO CAMON C7 got into a boot loop and I decided to flash it. Downloaded Stock ROM with exact build number from https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19276.html, then went ahead to flash. However, I've been unable to flash as SP FLASH TOOL keeps giving me this error:
ERROR: S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL (4008)
Download to flash fail! Please press CTRL+ALT+T to turn on debug log then reproduce again!
[HINT]:
BROM_DLL_V5.log and BROM_DLL.log would be created and record more detail information.

Hope you're not holding any button when connecting to PC for flashing

(26-12-2018, 06:29 AM)LawyerOfLife I don't hold any button while connecting

1. How did the phone end up in a bootloop
2. Have you taken out and re-inserted the battery?
3. Attach a full screenshot showing the error message
