Please i need help flashing my gionee x1s, I've gone through lots of methids like using the hovatek recovery porter and then using miracle to port in my phone Its always successful but when i go to recovery mode, i still have my stock recovery please what am I doing wrong?

what was the outcome of DM_verity when you ported twrp using our porting tool?

Also, where did you get the stock recovery.img you used?

I got the stock recovery.bin from the scatter file i got from miracle box, i renamed it to. Img when i copied it to the stock recovery folder of the hovatek porter. I followed the instructions till it counted for 30 seconds and closed. The recovery was then in output

Which version of the porting tool did you use?
How did you flash the custom recovery? Flash tool or fastboot.

I used version 1.4. And i flashed using miracle box. When i got the scatter file from miracle box, the recovery was in .bin, i renamed it myself to .img then copied it to the porter. I don't know if that's the cause

Retry flashing the custom recovery 3 consecutive times, make sure to rename the recovery to .bin and include preloader.bin you obtained from the backup.

Sorry I'm New I don't know MUCH ABOUT DM verity status please explain how to do that

use the latest version of the porting tool, look closely during port and you'll see a message box notifying about DM_verity
