Happy Sunday to u all. i received a notification that system update is available. At first i ignored it. leta i googled it and find out it 100% safe so i did night sub to embark on d update stuff. d download and unpacking the zip file was successful, den a button appeared n i was requested to tab d button to commence on d update. i tapped it, my phone restarts n HiOS graphics appeared and a progress bar. i watched it gradually getting filled up. at the moment it was filled up, d screen turned blank. i thought it was restarting but for over 30mins it was lik dat. i had to tap d power button but notin showed up. i left it throughout d night wen i wake up in d morning, i was having same issue of blank screen. i removed d battery n put it back, pressed d power button but notin showed up. i have to spend some thousand of naira to bring it bck to life. pls d update don show again wat do i do? Update dey crash phone?

No. i even flashed it a new stock rom due to FRP issues

ensure your phone is still running purely stock OS before performing the update, if its not then flash back stock rom (you can check the list at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19340.html for your build number ) before updating but if you can't find stock rom for your exact build number, then you should stay clear from the update
