hello Hovatek

Ive been trying to unpack stock recovery for my iVoomi i2 device
but the image file is compressed with a different format which Carliv image kitchen gives an error

Can someone be kind enough to help me unpack the stock recovery so that i can make a twrp for my device

You're trying to extract ramdisk-recovery.img and not recovery.img, that's two different things

You can extract ramdisk using any compression tool such as 7zip but

Ramdisk is only half the contents of a full recovery.img. check the firmware where you obtained ramdisk-recovery.img , there you should find a file named recovery.img OR better still backup directly from your phone

That's what you can unpack using Carliv's tool
