The phone seems to be running an MTK chipset, you can dump firmware directly your phone using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html

Actually my friend was trying to port a rom in it so he asked me to handover the set to him but on next day it was totally dead. It is only detected by the computer via sp tool with vcom drivers.

If you can reach your friend, then ask the person for more info concerning how it went totally dead. If he was trying to porting ROM, then he must have had stock ROM or made a backup (verify which one)
In the meantime, disconnect / reconnect the battery of the device then allow to charge for a few hours
Let's know if it still remains dead

I have asked him. He didnt made any backup. He was of the view that software ould be available on net. It has non removable battery and charged for several hours but no sign of life. Only sptool is detecting it

Not every firmware can be found readily online, that's why there's a guide for backing up ROM, at least he knows that now
Charging for several hours won't cut it. Loosen the phone or find someone who can then disconnect / reconnect the battery clip - (it's either it powers on afterwards or it doesn't, this will tell the next step)
