Hello, i tried porting custom recovery using auto twrp recovery porter and also auto philz recovery porter and both never worked. My phone is tecno c7 android 6 build no. C7-H355A1-M-160802V29
Port for me please.

1. Please shed more light on what you mean by both never worked
2. What version of TWRP porter did you use
3. Hope you used only files for your Build Number
4. Are you trying to root?

What i mean is am unable to get into recovery once i try flashing the custom recovery ported by either of the softwares.
I used version 1.3 of auto philz recovery porter and version 1.0 auto twrp recovery porter.
Yeah i used files of my phone, I had the stock recovery which i had backed up using miracle box then i followed the process of porting my own custom recovery using those two softwares i have mentioned above.

You can root using Magisk @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html then install Xposed from Magisk

Retry porting philz using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21495.html
Then flash the recovery 3 consecutive times and boot straight into recovery.

Manual port requests are not treated urgently as we focus more resources on those who have paid for Private Support so you'll need to exercise a lot of patience.
Provide your:
kernel version
Stock recovery.img and boot.img
