I have a Coolpad 8720d, it is passworded. I have tried hard reset. It resets successfully but the code doesn't go off. Please is there any other way I can unlock it. My CM2 infinity box is on it's way.

if you are 100% sure there was no errors when you performed the factory reset, then it means the device has a faulty emmc chip
unless you are referring to a different type of password
retry factory reset again and check the logs to be sure there are no errors
also attach a picture of the passworded screen
