I decided to root my cx air which I already updated to the latest software (so I'm running on the latest build) but I flashed a philz recovery of another build after unlocking the bootloader. The phone entered bootlop with a message "orange state phone will restart I'm 5s) but the phone won't restart, and if I try turning it off it will go back to the message. I searched the internet where I saw a tutorial on how to solve it. I installed mediatek da vcom drivers, change sp flash tools option (full speed with battery ). I started with the flash but ends at 26% with a brom error message. I searched for the error and the solution was to format flash. I formated flash w/o bootloader and I tried re flashing using the stock rom i downloaded from hovatek (which is another build below the one I have on the phone initially). I started flashing which took 1hr 30 min to complete but was successful. Now the phone won't turn on, charge, enter recovery but can connect to sp flash tool. So I flashed again this time with "high speed and battery set to auto detect" which didn't take long but successful and the phone still won't turn on. And I've been charging the phone like 10hrs ago. So pls I don't know what to do next.

You made some unnecessary moves there.
Which of the firmware at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19292.html did you flash?

do you remember the original build number of your device?
and have you tried flashing the second rom listed at the CX air download page?

I can't remember the build but I'm sure it's the latest build. I updated the software the night I bricked the phone. The size of the update was 343mb and if I'm not mistaken the build version should end with v19_. I've not tried flashing any other rom apart from the one I flashed earlier.

Try flashing the other CX Air firmware. Its a Miracle Box dump so ensure to see the bottom of that page for instructions on how to flash
