What's the phone's chipset and did you take note of the phone's build no.?

The phone was brought to me that way so I wouldn't know how it started.

Ran a quick search but nothing solid came up.
1. Did you ask how the phone got stuck at logo
2. Do you have an Box / Dongle that supports Spreadtrum backup
3. Can you get access to a working phone of the same model

Good. So you need to backup the working phone then flash to the bricked one.
1. What's the Android version?
2. Is the working phone rooted?
