big mistakes
what partition[s] did you attempt to manually format?
was the format process successful with a green tick?
try retrieving the build number using factory mode method at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16005.html

I believe i formatted the system partition. i can not access factory mode, i have tried several times. i can only access the recovery and even so i can not do a factory reset nor do a root integrity check-this fails immediately i start it.

The firmware will be listed at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html once available.
1. Can you get access to a working phone of the same model?
2. What's the name of the scatter file you used for the format (that will tell us your exact chipset)
