How did the problem start?
Have you tried wiping it in recovery?

Ran a quick search but nothing solid came up.
Can you get access to a working phone of the same model?

NO. I have no access to a similar model. Apart from flashing with ROM is there any other way to fix this problem?

Tried getting into recovery by key combinations but no joy. It is just stuck there at the logo. Now I was wondering if there might be a tool for wiping spreadtrum based phones that does not need ADB enabling on the phone since it's inaccessible?

You'll need a Box/Dongle to do that.

How exactly did the phone get bricked?

Thank you Innagee. Anyway do you know how to identify the built number of such a phone that won't boot? I am asking this because when one finds a pac file there are many variants. So how can you tell the correct one since you cannot boot the phone to check the version information. The battery hold only shows the model number. Thnks in advance.

I don't know. The phone was brought by another guy so that I can help him fix it. It's not exactly bricked it just doesn't finish booting. It hangs at the logo.

there are alot of methods to identify the original build no. of a bricked phone, some devices you can identify the build no. if you can boot the phone into recovery mode, some on the motherboard panel but if all that doesn't work then you'll have to get a hardware dongle to readinfo or dump the firmware and use system.img to get the build no.
