my Phone does not boot up at all when i try to start it via power button. it uses MT6582 chipset. so it though of creating a backup of the rom using miracle box as described by the tutorial by hovatek. everything seems okay but the miracle box crashes at the Downloading boot 8 step after connecting the phone. what could be wrong or what is the safest next step.

The phone is an infinix x507.
Currently the device does not boot up at all...  i did try the process on another machine yet miracle box still crushed. unless you mean a totally new desktop enviroment.

You must be using the Loader version, that often has problems with your chipset (MT6582) even though its old.
How exactly did the phone get bricked? details please

Its hard to tell. i upgraded the rom to lollipop when the version came out that was two years ago or close. But it never really had an issue.  about six months ago the battery had some problems and seemed it was expanding so i disposed it. Since i wasn't using the phone at the time, i just stored it away. so a week ago i purchased a replacement battery but the phone never started up. hence the start of this thread.

Any other hardware component could have developed a fault.
Have you tried reflashing the Lollipop rom?
