Since the last OTA update, my infinix zero 4 plus throws a fingerprint hardware not available error. I've tried hard resetting but it didn't help. The strange part is I can clear the fingerprint cache but not the data, if I try to clear the data, the window is closed immediately. How can I resolve this. Huh

Did you take note of your Build Number before installing the update

that's another problem, I didn't. I thought the OTA update was safe enough

unfortunately, not all OTA updates are bug free. you have two options here
* manage the issue until a new update is release which may or may not fix the issue [you can report this issue to their support team so they'll take note and try to fix in the next update]
* flash an older firmware build closely related to your current build number @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19926.html
