I need help with rooting my tecno k7. I was unable to flash recovery.img with sp flash after porting with autophilz. I was also unable to flash boot.img via adb (FAILED: ....... device locked) [ Login to download] the link contains my recovery.bin & boot.bin

what error did you get while trying to flash using SPft?
the adb error you get is as a result of locked bootloader
it has to do with ROM changed...

you mentioned recovery.bin and boot.bin which means you backed up using Miracle Box right?
If so then you need to rename the file(s) back from .img to .bin (after patching / porting) then flash back using Miracle Box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-14106.html not SP flash tool as the MB scatter file won't work on SP flash tool
Note:
1. The files should be renamed to .bin format not .bin.img
2. Miracle Box often requires that you include preloader.bin when flashing
