dump the firmware of your phone in scatter file format using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html
then rename the boot.bin file to boot.img, then root using the guild @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html

if you want to rename the file on your PC, you need to first enable extensions
- click on Start button > select Control Panel > select Appearance and Personalization > select Folder Options > select View tab.
- Under Advanced settings, select Untick Hide extension for known file types > select OK
BUT
if you don't understand the process above, download the file in the attachment below
extract the content of the zip into the same folder as the boot.bin from your backup
then run the "rename boot_bin"
it will rename the boot.bin to boot.img for you
