[Development] How to use Magisk Manager & boot.img to root Android
(06-04-2022, 02:16 PM)Mahidi92 I have an android 10 device and the firmware contains boot.img and boot-adb.img file. On my first attempt to root(having unlocked the bootloader) I patched the boot.img and successfully flashed it via adb fastboot only for my device to go into bootloop. I suspect it's either because I didn't flash the empty vbmeta file or should have patched and flashed the boot-adb.img instead. I want to be sure on where I got it wrong before making another attempt. Thanks
