Anytime i try to send unsubscribe from this games subscription by sending a code to a short code, "902" to be precise. My phone displays the short error code

"com.android.phone" can not be used, please try to allow permissions.

please i need some serious help here. Cos i cant even send messages to any short code. it keeps displaying the same error message as stated above.

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Messages > Permissions > Enable all permissions especially if there's something like Premium SMS
You can also check under Open by default > clear defaults for this Premium SMS option

Can you check your account balance and send SMS to other shortcodes
You should also install True messenger apk from playstore and test with it

Other short code messages are not going thru. It's not account balance problem.

I just wanted to verify if dialing short codes is also affected. Have you tried the app I suggested
You should also check your Settings > Apps > Show system . Maybe there are more than one Message(s) app. There should be an option to allow sms to premium numbers / shortcodes
