Mtk devices suck big time really! Never faced any issues with Qualcomm powered devices, unlocking those devices is a breeze. I've had some bad experiences with Mediatek devices in the past also.
Try flashing the stock recovery alone (not custom) and let me know how that goes
(23-11-2017, 06:41 PM)aftab malvi I'm able to flash just the stock recovery without any problems!
Btw, I've tried each and every different types of TWRP available for this device.

Try fastboot oem lock
That's if the bootloader is actually unlocked

Still no help, i dont know what is happening here, in fastboot mode it says FAILED (remote: not allowed in locked state) but in developer mode the oem unlock toggle is greyed out by stating bootloader already unlocked??? crazy!! I think the bootloader got messed up. Is it possible to just flash the bootloader thru sp flash tool? If yes then please guide me. This phone is driving me nuts now... Also i've read somewhere that the OTA updates relocks the bootloader by flashing the whole rom? Is that true?

Instead of fastboot flash recovery recovery.img , try fastboot boot recovery.img
(04-12-2017, 10:45 PM)aftab malvi Same result "FAILED (remote: not allowed in locked state)"

This confirms that your Bootloader is locked
