What I have done now is I have taken the entire tablet apart to remove the main board. Now I have soldered a wired from KC0L0 to the GRN pad and when I plug it into my laptop I am seeing this device "MTK USB Port (COM13)". Please remind me what state the phone is in when the computer sees it like this ?

update:
I've done a full reinstall of windows 7 and installed the drivers as per the instructions from your site and when I connect my tablet to the PC with KC0L0 connected to a GND, windows sees it as MTK USB Port(COM5) but it seems to come and go.
