I need infinix X401 ROM, I forgot the pattern lock and i tried factory reset using recovery mode but as soon as i get to the NO, NO NO....YES NO NO, I wont be able to select option YES. S o I think the only option for me is to format and flash the phone

use volume down to navigate and volume up to select

i used the option key as the OK key since it's a version 2 android phone

we're yet to upload the x402 stock ROM. in the mean time, try volume down + power (factory mode) and let me know what it shows. Also, try the volume up + power (recovery) and try different buttons to scroll down and select Yes

Okay, but the issue is not how to boot to recovery mode, am able to reach recovery mode but not able to use the option key (OK) more than once, i mean am only able to use it to select reset factory default... but when i get to the next step of selecting YES, the key wont respond anymore. I have searched the net and it's a common problem with Infinix X401. Please help

ok. try volume down + power and let me know what it shows
okay, i just tried it repeatedly and it neither enter fastboot nor any mode, it went straight to the too many pattern attempts screen

I have read it, but debug mode is not enabled and WIFI is off and the
Factory Reset is not resolving the issue also since i cant select YES

you could format userdata and cache using fastboot
