soft bricked itel 1516plus
(08-09-2017, 06:18 AM)promise.john Hello,
Please I need your assistance in unbricking my itel1516 plus. My internal memory was filed up, so I decided to wipe it with twrp recovery. After the wipe I switched off the phone and it was charging, but when I switched it on, it got stucked in the itel logo up till now.
It has refused to switch off, and I can't access recovery mode while it is stucked. I have been waiting for it to run down so I can boot to recovery. I still need help is there anything else o could do?
Sorry I logged in with my sisters fb account. Was unable to use my own

Thank you for your reply. But the phone is always on and stucked. It has been on since yesterday and has refused to switch off no matter the buttons I press. How do I switch it off so as to enable me flash the pac file.
Is there any hope?

(08-09-2017, 12:43 PM)Buzz763 Its a non removeable battery. I was able to switch off by letting it die. And now I can enter recovery mode, I also have access to a working version of the phone. Can I flash the twrp recovery backup to the bricked one?

that is another alternative you can try,
you can flash twrp to the working phone, backup > copy the backup over to yours using sd card, then restore
