The iPhone 7 Plus Clone is an MT6580 powered phone running on Android 6 (Marshmallow)

How to root iPhone 7 Plus Clone



  1. Install VCOM drivers on your PC using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html
  2. Download SuperSU 2.78.zip at https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457084094631642692
  3. Copy SuperSU.zip to both the phone’s SD card and internal storage
  4. Download Philz for iPhone 7 Plus Clone ported by Team Hovatek @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4S-Z72...hvQVE/view
  5. Flash the Philz recovery.img to the phone using SP Flash tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
  6. Boot the phone into recovery mode using Volume up button + Power button (see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-479.html )
  7. In Philz recovery, you use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select
  8. Select Install Zip
  9. Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.78.zip on the SD Card and select it
  10. Wait till flashing is complete
  11. If you are prompted to fix root, select No
  12. Reboot the phone normally
  13. Confirm Root by installing and running Root Checker

you can dump your firmware before rooting using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html
this way if you don't achieve what you want and wish to revert back to stock, then simply flash back the dump.

It's been a month...and I've tried it for a thousand times with follow up with ur instructions and still doesn't work....even i ask my friend that know how to root any device....but still doesn't work for my device....

what actually happened is...i just got the green bar and it says successful.... when i unplug the cable in my phone and tried to boot up to recovery....nothings happens....pleasee help me...im running out of storage right now....please SIR HOVATEK

hope this recovery.img was extracted / backed up from your own phone.
If yes then state your Build Number and upload the recovery.img
