The Infinix Zero 4 Plus (X602) e.g X602-H972A1-M-161115V119 is powered by the MT6797 System on Chip (SoC) and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)

How do I root an Infinix Zero 4 Plus (X602) ?

1. Install VCOM drivers on your PC using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html
   
2. Download SuperSU 2.76.zip at [ Login / Register to download free]
   
3. Copy the SuperSU.zip to both the phone’s SD card and internal storage
   
4. Download TWRP for Infinix Zero 4 Plus (X602) ported by Team Hovatek @ [ Login / Register to download free]
   
5. Switch off the phone (still with battery inside)
   
6. Flash the TWRP recovery.img to the phone using SP Flash tool at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
   
7. Boot the phone into recovery mode using Volume up button + Power button (see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-479.html )
   
8. In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY
   
9. If TWRP offers to root the phone, select NO
   
10. In TWRP recovery, tap Install
    
11. Navigate to the location of the SuperSU 2.76.zip and select it
    
12. Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip and wait till flashing is complete
    
13. Reboot the phone normally
    
14. Confirm Root by installing and running Root Checker @ https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...heck&hl=en

we only need the stock recovery and scatter file
so download the ROM if its the stock rom for your phone's build, then upload only the recovery and scatter file

I need to root Nougat for zero 4 plus , I tried to root using mashmellow recovery & I was unsuccessful, so is there a recovery for Nougat.
