[Please help] Tecno w4 not responding

Please I tried flashing a stock rom to a Tecno W4 using SP Flash Tool, the flashing was showed as successful but the phone immediately went off and stopped responding. Later on, when I plug it to my laptop, it comes on and off.

I've read thru this forum and have tried method like charging it for days, and plugging it into laptop but it's all to no avail.

I really need Help ASAP!

Which rom did you flashed and what is your phone build number?

The rom I flashed is TECNO-W4=AW875A-A1-M-20160328 but I'm unable to get the build number cos the phone isn't coming on again

Have you tried other Tecno W4 firmware @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html ?

The issue there is that the phone does not stay detected for long on the system, it goes on & off

What version of sp flash tool are you using have you tried the latest sp flash tool V5.1644. Tecno w4 stock is four in the list have you tried all check again https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html

Ensure the battery is well charged and you're not holding any button when connecting

I think you need to disconnect the battery and connect again before connecting to computer. "Try that surely it will work."

You could leave it connected to power for a while if you don't know how to disconnect it.
To be sure its not a driver issue, try updating the phone's driver using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16839.html
