There's a good change you run into error: file adbd not install while doing an MTK Droid tools backup, When faced with such, this guide will explain what to do
Steps to fix error: file adbd not install in MTK Droid tools
Follow the steps below to resolve the adbd not install error
- Exit PdaNet in system tray if open
- Close MTK droid tools
- Disconnect the phone from PC
- Download Busybox apk @ https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...on.busybox
- Install Busybox on the phone and click Open after installation
- Wait for initialization to finish (100%)
- Still in Busybox, click Install wand wait till you get a prompt saying installation was successful
- Re-launch MTK droid tools
- Reconnect the phone to PC
If the issue persists after the above steps then
- Download ADBD Insecure apk @ https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B9srKhKuV...t=download
- Install it on the phone and launch
- Tick Enable insecure adbd
- Re-launch MtK droid tools

Important Notice
- MTK Droid tools only works on old MTK chips so this guide won't work for new MTK chipets and Android version
- If you're trying to backup then consider using Wwr_MTK tool
