issue summary: x506 16GB, dead , Sp Flash tool only show red bar 100% then error 4001 >

my issue started as follow:
1- Mobile not responsive to touch.
2- Mobile don't walk from standby pressing power button.
3- I forced shutdown (Long Power Press) then powered on again.
4- issues 1,2 were repeated.
5- i downloaded SP Flashtool 5 ,and stock ROM Kitkat j608.
6- Loaded scatter file, unselected all except bootimg+recovery
7-clicked download
8-Connected phone while clicking on volume +
9- in SP Tools redbar shown to 100%,then error S_FT_DA_NO_Response4001
then it was dead,
whenever i try to flash , it gives same error S_FT_DA_NO_Response4001.

Any help .
Notes:
Battery is non removable.
i tried flash tool version 3.1344.0: Gives same error
i tried win 8, win7 64 bit, same error on both.

You're not supposed to hold any button when connecting to PC for flashing. See https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html

sorry for late update,
I was traveling and i didn't have access to the phone

I did exactly the same. ( Except for the SD card)
i will try to get one today and retest again. with the SD Card Inserted and update.

I followed the exact steps (Including the SD Card inserted)

after i click download. then connect the usb cord,
windows 7 x64 detects the Device as MTK USB Port.
regardless of the manually installed driver "MediaTek USB Preloader Port"

Note: Sp tools Detects the device and stops it from disconnected as it normally does fluctuate connecting ,,,disconnecting . till 1 min passes then the SP tool error 4001 pops up. and mobile mobile disconnects at the same time

I have tested other 2 different cables.
also tested on 3 different machines. 2 windows 7 + 1 Windows8.1
still the same behavior and error.

take out the battery using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-8523.html and reinsert it then try flashing again

To summarize incase someone have my same issue.
Infinix Zero x506 Builtin battery. Mobile is dead not showing charging or red led. , i failed to flash without disassembling the mobile.( Other mobiles may work normally without disassembling but sadly mine didn't )

Issue: when i try to flash i always get error 4001 , even i have the same correct drivers advised by hovatek, SP flash tool cannot communicate with my phone

Issue reason : Mobile don't enter META mode required for flashing. reason for that is meta mode is not activated when the battery is in the mobile.

resolution logic : Trick the mobile to enter META mode. ( Step # 8)

Actions:
**Read All Actions & References Before proceeding**
1- Disassemble the mobile : check the reference in end of post. (Remove the Sim /SD Drawers 1st )
Note: No need to totally remove the battery just remove battery socket, Raise it upwards with a wooden toothpick. ( you will do this many times)- Picture of socket attached.
2- Remove all old drivers.
3- Restart Computer
3- Add driver : MediaTek Preloader USB Vcom Port.
4- connect mobile to Laptop ( without battery(Socket Disconnected))
5- Mobile will be detected as MediaTek Preloader USB Vcom Port then disconnected (Normal don't worry)
6- Remove USB Cable from computer side
7- Open SP Flash Tools and load scatter files , select what you need to install.
I advise to select all except ( Android , Cache, USRDATA) as they are large files ,take longer time, and they need a good battery charge before downloading. (and in my case the battery was not charging and it was empty.
8- do these subsequent steps in the same order and sequentially with no delay.
a. Click Download in SP Flash tool
B. Connect the Battery socket.
c. Connect USB Cable to Computer.
Note: you must connect the usb cable very fast after connecting battery socket. otherwise mobile will not be detected as META Mode by SP Flashtools and will give errors .
9- After the selected files are completed. remove the usb then connect it again.
and here you are , YOU can now see the RED LED, And the Charging Symbol on the screen)
your mobile is now 50% revived.
10- Leave the battery to charge for 30 min to be sufficient when installing ( Adndroid , Cache, USRDATA)
11- Repeat Steps 7 but with only ( Adndroid , Cache, USRDATA)
12- Remove Battery Socket again.
13- Repeat step 8.
you will see a big smile when you look at the mirror after your mobile is 100% Revived.
